Welcome to the blog for the Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee! We hope to present our ongoing discussions, research, and recommendations to the City Council here, so please feel free to jump in and comment as we move along.
We had our first meeting tonight, which featured presentations by Marc Morgan, the City’s Solid Waste Manager, and Bob Walker the head of SERG. Marc discussed ongoing efforts specifically in Public Works and at the Landfill to improve operating efficiencies and look for more opportunities do become even more efficient. Bob discussed the work of SERG in helping town energy committees get going, and all the resources available to us.
In the near term, the Committee will be meeting twice a month, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, from 5:00PM – 6:30PM, with our next meeting coming up on April 16.
